Essie Mae AlbrittonHello Arizona Questers!
Meet President Daphne Davis

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Daphne Davis, from Buckeye, and I have been elected the Arizona Quester president for 2017-2019.

I have been a Quester for 40 years. I became a Quester at age 27. I joined while living in Iowa and served as Iowa State Historian before moving to Minnesota.

I served as State Organizer of Minnesota for five years (an uncharted state.)

Recently, I served as International Recording Secretary and International Publicity Chairman. During this time I began spending my winters in Arizona.

Three years ago, Don and I became permanent Arizona residents. I was fortunate to join Yucca chapter. I also served as your second Vice President for two years.

My husband Don and I have two daughters, a son-in-law and two granddaughters (6 and 10.) We spend the summer months living 10 minutes away from our granddaughters in St. Louis Park, Minnesota!

I love to collect, although my focus has become narrower. In fact in order to downsize, I became an antiques dealer in Hopkins, Minnesota, last June.

I am still searching for wonderful Palissy Majolica pieces and Wedgwood Caneware. My other collections include carved black forest pieces, tortoiseshell boxes, tramp art, Delft tobacco jars, Chinese snuff bottles, Victorian sea shell creations, chocolate and Victorian ice cream molds and Spanish Colonial religious items (as well as lots of small and/or seasonal collections!) I also collect jewelry, but I don’t care if it is old, just fabulous!

I love to entertain. I love social media, (Pinterest, Facebook and Instgram.) I love giving Quester programs.

I can’t wait to visit your chapter! I know that some of you know me, but I hope by the spring of 2019, I will know every Quester in the state!

Daphne Davis
